Oh yeah, I have a DeviantArt account. How about that.

Um. Yeah. Sorry about that, kinda dropped off for a bit. Mostly because I stopped wanting to draw and turned my attentions to writing, and as such had nothing to post. I'm still not drawing much, but a) seeing the relative lack of fanart for old-school Who and the CSIs and b) getting into Transformers Animated, which has lots of pretty fanart, have both nudged me towards drawing again. Of course I've also managed to unlearn everything I learned about drawing human figures, baaah. This might take time.

Anyway, just thought I'd take a peek back at this account and resuscitate it a bit. DA's full of new features I don't understand and it's going to take me some time to figure those out. Who knows, I did do a couple of drawings in the meanwhile; maybe I'll even post them.

Yeah. What the title says.

Many, many apologies for my utter deadness over the past few weeks. I'm back in school now, so I have to make the most of my procrastination time, which mean that pile of 200+ messages is slowly eroding away. Oh, and I'm drawing again. There's that too.

More than anything, though, I've been writing. I've been writing like woah. (At least, compared to a few weeks ago I've been writing like woah.) Sure, it's all been brief and the majority of it's been fanfiction, but hey, it's writing, and that's what counts.

Speaking of fanfiction, if there are any Law and Order fans roving around my page, you might want to go check out my livejournal. I've been pretty active in the Lawandorder100 community recently, so you can find some of my fanfiction there, under the name stunt_muppet.

Why? Because in that journal, I've posted photos of jewelry that I've made. I've been making bead jewelry for about two years now, and I was thinking of setting up an online store for it. What I'd like for you to do (except for viralmancer, because she's already done it) is to take a look through my stuff and give me your honest opinion. Do you think it's worth my time and energy to set up a store? Would anyone buy it? Would you? What would you like to see made available for sale?

[EDIT]I'm done. I'm *done*. No more exams for another half a year. Wanna know what's even better? I completely stomped this history exam. Stomped it. Actually, I probably didn't, but I felt like I stomped it. And it's a good feeling.

Now to start drawing again - bunch of contests coming up soon and I haven't got entries for them. And yet, in spite of approaching due dates, I still continue to draw CSI: Miami crack. I need to be shot before I do anymore damage to this fandom.

I just had the most awkward conversation with my mother *ever*. Yeah, next time you try to convince your mom that your interest in 40- or 50-something-year-old lawyers, cops, and CSIs on TV isn't creepy and disturbed, you let me know how that goes.

But she thinks Elliot Stabler's cute too, so she can't say anything to me. Haha.

[EDIT ONCE MORE] I'm home now! I got to see my family again! I'm taking the next few days to relax, sleep in, and do a little last-minute Christmas ninja-shopping, but friends at home, I will be calling you to pester you soon enough!

A very happy Thanksgiving to you!

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. It was good to be home for a change, even though it was a little wierd not carrying around an ID tag or wearing flip-flops to the shower or doing any of that college stuff. And I got to see many of my friends again, even if it was just for one day and we spent most of that time watching the most bizzare movie I've seen in a long while. Well, in a short while, really - Cat Soup wasn't that long ago, and I'm still 'wtf'ing from that.

I miss my family.

Anyway, got back to college yesterday, and I realized three things.

1) I've got finals coming up.
2) I've got essays due soon.
3) Unless I stop spending my evenings drawing and watching Law and Order/CSI: Miami/Monk/House/What Not to Wear marathons, I'm kinda screwed.

So, as of now, all art projects, including contest entries, are on hold. Feel free to continue to request sketches or whatnot, but until Dec 13th or so I'm not even going to start them. Also, I will probably be very slow to comment, if I comment at all. I may, on occasion, post a bit of fanfluff or an inked version of something I've already finished (I've gotta procrastinate somehow), but don't expect a lot of activity.

[MINOR UPDATE] It's December 1st. I've been wearing a short-sleeved shirt all day. And I've been *warm*. Wtf. O__o
